Joe & I enjoyed this delicious Bún Cá soup in Saigon during our most recent trip to Vietnam and want to share it with all of you. Though we enjoyed this special meal in Saigon, this dish has its origins in northern Vietnam.
I’ll begin by preparing firm white fish in two different ways – both boiling balls of the ground fish and also frying fish patties. The fish will then be added to my special soup stock along with a variety of Vietnamese green vegetable, dill & other herbs. You’ll have a generous portions of rice noodles to enjoy in this yummy soup dinner.
This was one of our favorite meals during our travels (read more about it here: https://www.eatingsaigon.com/2018/07/27/quan-phong-lan/ ) and I think/hope you’ll love it too!
